2007 Popcorn Sale Incentive Plans-- 26% or 30%

Like all youth programs, Scouting can cost money. Uniforms, handbooks, pinewood derby cars, campouts, and trips can be a drain on your wallet. But don’t despair! Every year thousands of Scouts support their programs by selling delicious Trail’s End Popcorn. This fund-raiser is the primary source of money for most packs and troops (units).

Again, this year we have two choices of commissions Packs, Troops and crews can choose from:

Straight Commission- where 26% of every dollar raised goes to your Pack, Troop, or Crew, and the Scout also earns 10 percent in the form of a popcorn certificate.

Camp Program- where 30 % of every dollar raised goes to your Pack, Troop, or Crew, PLUS the Scout can choose from different prizes based on the total amount he sold.
Prizes include:
u At the $575 level, a free trip to Cub Resident/ Webelos Resident Camp. (would require $850 under the 26% plan)
u NEW THIS YEAR!!!!
Cub Scouts can earn a free trip to Cub Scout Day Camp and Boy Scouts can now earn half off their Camp fee for Camp Buffalo at the $575 level.
u At the $1,050 level, Boy Scouts earn a free trip to Boy Scout Summer Camp at Camp Buffalo!!!!! (would require $1,650 under the 26% plan)

When your unit kicks off the sale this fall, remember parents, your Scouts need your support for this worthwhile activity. Has your Unit Considered a Blitz Saturday on September 29?
